So ironic that I watched this video earlier today, and later on worked you for CXQ-160-SSB! Great to hear other You Tube content creators actually on the air. Enjoyed seeing your antenna designs (wish I had room for those elevated radials...wow) and loved the nourishment clip and when Steve (KM4SLW) forgot your call...that is something I would do! 😀 73! de WX0V

Hey Scott; I am definitely active on the air. I enjoy building wire antennas and putting them to use. Steve (KM4SLW) was on the mic last week when we made that contact in the 160 contest. He forgot to acknowledge you during that contact but, I have it recorded for the next video. Good luck with your channel and i'm headed there now. Steve - Ad4xt

Another question. I hv a My Antennas,10-80 efhv, 130 feet, flat(@20 feet high). With my Icom 7300 and mfj-998, the wire works really well. I can even work 160, decently with low swr. Now, I have a ground wire coming off of the 49:1 to a grnd rod. Off of this, I hv multiple wires for a counterpoise( my experiment), which improves the low bsnds🥳. If if if, I put up, in the same configuration, their 9:1 with 173’ or 202’ wire efhw(these are their lengths available), would I see a sizable improvement on all bands or low bands, etc, vs my 130 49:1?? Just curious. Ps. With my amp and 400 watts, I really have a good signal. Thanku for the help n your input. Billy N1mrk

Hard to say. Go experiment. See what works for you. That's what it's all about.
