Always remember when they're 10lbs they're even more heavier on the line fighting than just 10lbs. Lmfao

Listen man, love the video isle royale is awesome place. I make two of not three trips a year up there, but please stop playing fish to be bigger then they actually are. I've held multiple 40+ inch lake trout and while y'all had a great day fishing there is no need for you to sit there and tack on weight to an already nice fish for a video.

Pope and Young easy, maybe Boone. Loved it. Would like to fish that mysterious Lake Superior one day for sure.

Don’t have a massive boat, but enough room for 6 people to be in and have enough room. It’s a 22.5’ cuddy cabin

How much fuel does that take to make a trek like that? Looks awesome out there

Burned about 90 gallons in 3 days, we did a lot of moving and scouting of spots, my Honda in the video gets about 3mpg at cruise so takes about 20 gallons to get to the end of the island and 20 back

Also Ryan, this is a very dangerous trip and you have to plan the weather accordingly. Seas out on the big lake can change in a heart beat.
@rakeremis67303 жыл бұрын
@@NorthwoodsAngling I'm not foolish enough to giver a go myself. I know the dangers. That's probably why I've never fished superior. Would love to someday but like you said, need to plan/prepare and watch the weather

Imagine, a guy caught one that weighed 63 pounds there on that lake once. Lake Trout can live to be 50 years old.
