Tha is for the Superior footage.. I grew up in the Keweenaw Peninsula, and surely miss fishing the Big Lake.. 🙌

I agree with Jeff, it would be great if you talked about your rigs, reels and setups in general. Also, links to things are always great and will help your channel grow as well.

2 fish. Crazy. I saw bondies used b4 but they don't look lifelike to me. Wouldn't forage colored bucktails or soft plastics draw more strikes? Not that you're needing improvement...2 fish! Awesome video

The water on the bottom is warmer than the top in June, so 39 top is say ?43 bottom or warmer... Other than that, I enjoyed the video and you are cool fishin even if the were wets. Wanted to see how to rig the bonnie baits. Wondered where u were, generally..

Great stuff as always! You gonna make it to Stannard Rock this year? Any chance you could bring back that style of ball cap again? I went to purchase 1 and there's only the 1 style available.
@SuperiorAngling5 жыл бұрын
Stannard rock is fun, but theres a lot of fishing pressure for such a small area. Im sure well go once or twice, but we prefer areas with nobody around. YES! Caps will be available later today on superiorangling.com/shop

Oooh, starcraft at 1:45 Interesting bottom texture at 5:50. Do you guys have limestone up there? I would have expected to see silt, not rocks. And the dissolved rock bowls
@adventurefishing31905 жыл бұрын
More limestone in great lakes than anywhere, the largest cement plant in the world is in michigan

what lb test are you using for leader?
@SuperiorAngling5 жыл бұрын
We prefer 30 or so. These trout aren't line shy and using a heavier line helps with the weight of the big lures.

You guys ever fish Lac La Croix for lakers?
@thecount10015 жыл бұрын
they can withstand being out of the water that long, and survive ok after release?
@MrKveite15 жыл бұрын
Ideally you are supposed to net them, remove the hooks with plyers while the fish is in the net and lift it up a few sec in front of a pre aimed camera for a quick photo and you are supposed to lift it with BOTH hands to avoid damage on the spine. Put it back in the net to let it recover properly and then release them but pics on FB and movies on youtube means a LOT more than whats good or bad for the fish so its really rare to see youtubers treat the fish properly and TONS of fish die every year from bad catch and release because people are too lazy to care or too greedy for attention or both.

Not really. These bigger fish are very old and were dedicated to helping protect the resource. If one died on accident we will but we never keep a trout that will swim away.

Always some jackwagon that has to run his lips to try and show how smart they are...when all it really does is show how ignorant they are. If they wanted to say where they are, they would.
@alexking37385 жыл бұрын
Good content But you fish handling needs some work. If you aren't going to eat them use a net and keep your fingers out of the gills. Protect your resources.
@MrKveite15 жыл бұрын
They dont care about the fish, only about the YT vids and FB pics, if they DID care they would know how to handle fish so it's not open for discussion.
