how can I calculate breaking force (eccentric) and propulsive force (concentric) from force plate data?

Doesn't the mass of the jumper have to be taken into consideration for the flight time method at all?
@LetsTeachScience Жыл бұрын
No it doesn't as gravity acts on all objects with a constant acceleration regardless of mass.

Great video! Which Method is more precise? The impulse one or the Flight Time one?
@LetsTeachScience Жыл бұрын
The impulse method is better because it determines the vertical displacement of center of mass. The flight time method can be "cheated" by landing with your legs in a flexed position because it is based off of the time you are not in contact with the ground.
