Thank you so much for all of your videos. I'm working on my third album. I suppose it sounds kind of odd, but it gets a little lonely working alone. I live on a small island where no one (that I know of) is interested in making these, even though everyone thinks they are gorgeous. Listening to you while I work feels a little like I'm spending the day with a friend. (I did get to make one with my daughter last week when she visited, and I went out of state to start my first one with a friend.)

I started one of these and it is going together so easily.Although I did have a little problem, put the spine on the wrong side but it still works well, I just have more pages instead of any flip outs. Our local Michaels told one of my friends that they don't carry it. They in fact do as I've bought it loads of times and in fact that day they told my friend they didn't have any I had just checked with another friend who works there and she said they had just gotten some in that morning. Ours stocks it in the isle with the individual 12x12 sheets. :o) ~Tracie~

yes, mysistersscrapper said to try JoAnnes. I expressed to her that I went around this by using shirt boxes I got from the dolllar store. Its thinner then average cardboard but thick enough that it made a great chipboard replacement. I don't need to buy all the latest greatest. I don't have that kind of money, so if I can find something compairable...I do. Hope it helps I'm excited to finish this album :)

When doing the flap..should it be even with the top of the bag, because when I slide it in, some of the bag shows..so my question is should it be even with the top and let some of the bottom of the bag show or even with the bottom and let some of the top of the bag show?

Hi Ginger. What a brilliant tutorial series: I would love to make one of these albums but in the UK it is impossible to buy the paper bags. Do you have a pattern for the bags, or could I even use envelopes back to back to five the flanges(?) to add the binding and flap. Best wishes from a very frustrated scrapper! Pam

Hello Ginger! I want to make a mini album as well! I was wondering if I could use any kind of bags or does it have to be the one that you are using? I got mines from Walmart out of the celebration department. Are there any alternations I need to know to make the exact one that you had just demonstrated?
@mysistersscrapper10 жыл бұрын
The only adjustment would be the measurements. You will need to adjust those to the size of the bags you are using.
@barbarawiley11498 жыл бұрын
Ho can I ajust the measurement if I use lunch bags?
@mysistersscrapper8 жыл бұрын
Barbara Wiley you will need to measure your bags and then make the flaps for the bags 1/4 inch shorter than the height of your bags. When you cut your design paper it will need to measure 1/4 inch smaller than your bags and flaps.
