Vertical Powerhouse The Harrier Jump Jet

Can confirm, they fly about 10 days or so out of the month. I live right beside the Bouge NC air field and they hover right over my house to land. Very cool but probably one of the loudest sounds I’ve heard.

These are still in service. I live 1 mile from the Bouge NC airfield and they fly about 10 days out of the month. They make their turn to line up and transition to hover right over my house. Super loud and super cool.
