Great video! 🙏 For me, shooting so much vertical work without a proper rig puts my equipment at risk. I have nearly dropped it a few times due to not having my set up on point. For that alone, it is worth investing in the few pieces to your cage.

Hi !!! I took an a7iv this week, I found something strange when I deactivate the e-Front Cutain Shutter on the camera and take a picture, it seems that it makes two shooting sounds. With the e-Front Cutain Shut I only hear a trigger sound. Do you know if this is normal ??? Greetings from Brazil =)

lit setup man, would you recommend any monitor mounts for a vertical rig with the atomos ninja v?

You would probably need to get a cage for the ninja v first, then I would use a small rig monitor mount that has a nato clamp.

Thanks for watching. The nato rail came with the side handle. There’s also nato rail built into the top of the cage.

Hey Dee, does this mean anytime you want to go back to horizontal shooting on a tripod/gimbal, you have to unscrew that nato attachment from the bottom? I'm just trying to figure out a system where I don't have to do that (I don't want the handle on the other side since it'll block my multi-shoe Sony mic). Thanks!

Yes, unfortunately, that would be the case unless your cage has multiple mounting points on the bottom.
