I was listening to this song while driving to a church group tonight. After dinner with my boyfriend we only had to go five minutes away and the first turn out of the parking lot I get t boned. It was my first car accident ever and I’ve been driving for three years. When the car stopped this song was still playing and the first thing I hear after the crash is “I am safe” It’s been a long night but praise God that no one was seriously injured. I’m praising God that no one else was in either car and my boyfriend was in his car behind me and able to stay calm when I couldn’t. I’m praising Him for healing pain almost immediately. And at first I saw it as a tragedy and was worried because I just got my moms old car… so a new car to me. I ruined it already. And then my mom tells me “this wouldn’t have been the outcome if you were in your old car”. The car I had a month ago was tiny and definitely would have been much worse. But I am safe. Praise God!!

I feel everyone is pressing me to do education and wants me to get a job and earn money so I'm not a burden for them. But at the same time, they haven't given me time to figure out what I want to do. They just press me to go on school. This has lead me into a deep depression, with suicidal thoughts. I grew up with parents that abused me, as they divorced and made it much more difficult. I got a stepmother that hates me, for being me. It's like "I'm" not good enough, I've always been pressed to do things I don't want, and if I didn't do it, they wouldn't accept me. Thats what I'm feeling right now. I feel like a cloud, that is about to disapear. I feel like no purpose, I feel like no acceptance, I feel like failure. The awful thing is that the depression gets worse and worse, and it doesn't stop. Its mentally exhausting. I want it to stop, I've screamed to God, but he doesn't respond. and if it keeps going, i'll take it in my own hands.

Don’t worry about anything under the sun. God will take care of you, so you don’t have to take care of you. Tell Him how much He means to you and how thankful you are for your life. You are lucky to have people who care for you. I was tossed away with no help and had to leave everything and everyone behind. It was there that life became the most beautiful and the most painful. Please seek therapy when needed. There is no shame in needing help. God lives in all of us. He gave us access to other people for a reason. Ask God to bring you the wisdom you need to move on past the pain. Praying for you to find freedom in the Lord and not feel lost in a cave. Look for that small light still shining and chase after it beloved.

In Christ you are enough. I know how it fells like being trapped in depression. I was diagnosted with a mental health problem (ocd). I saw the most horrible things and it lasted for so many months. I walked in the street and only wanted the bus to it me. But then I found God in a complete different perspective. I sarted relying on him. Everytime something happened I prayed to him. And when I felt discouraged I told myself God was strong, hable and He was gona heal me. The mental deseasse was only supossed to tone down if I took pills, and still it was incurable. But God helped me and now Im okay. (Never took a single pill). You only need to stay strong, take one day at a time, keep beliving, wait for God to move and know that God takes you in just as you are. You are his masterpiece, if nobody else can see it that's their problem not yours. Also do keep on looking for someone to encourage you, you have no idea how much a source of strenght my mom and God were for me. After all a cord of three branches is not easily broken. And just so you know how important you are, I made a KZbin account just to tell you this, and very few little people know about it (keep my secret ; ) ). Those thoughts and feelings are not from God and are to be taken captive by you. I Corinthians 10:3-6 explains this. This is the fight for your life. God doesn't do for us what he's told us to. Look to Him, stand up and fight for your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

You have to give it all to God. God loves you, He knows your name, He would answer you if only you call on Him. I understand the situation you are passing through and the challenges you go through daily, but know that God is WAY bigger than those challenges and he's stretching out His arms to help you. Just give it all to Him. Dearie! He cares about you. If he cares so much about the sparrows that none falls down dead without Him noticing, how much more you.? When you have such negative feelings just pray to God, renew your mind with His word. Talk to spiritually mature people about your challenges and ask that they join you in prayers, go to a good church, play gospel music 🎶, saturate your self with anything inspiring and positive and you would see those evil thoughts start crumbling. Just know that you are so important and loved by God. He took his time to mold you and form you, you were worth His blood, so NEVER look down on your self. Satan knows ur gon be so great and this is his own foolish scheme of keeping you from fulfilling your purpose. But shake it off and tell him you now know better. Ur in my prayers dear! Peace!

It is hard and awful to go through such a hard time, but you are not alone. Other people (who have left comments under your post) and I will pray for you. For you to overcome this time with God in a wise way. Live a life that God will love to see from you and I believe that God will love to see you smile and be happy. Although there are many factors that are pressing you down, just be yourself and enjoy the things that makes you happy, healthy in soul, and lively. They are not the people who should guide your life and emotions, but it is you who choose to become who you are and and it is your God who guide you to your happiness.

With so many people battling mental health issues today, I think many find comfort knowing He is with them in the storm. In your mind, it's dark, cold, loud, the wind buffets you, chaotic, and seems like all hope is lost. Jesus is a refuge in that storm - a source of light, warmth, stillness, peace, and hope. It might be just enough to get you through that moment and keep pressing on. So yes - many references to storms, etc, but the purpose is to point us back to Him within the storm. Matt 14:22-36
