Vertigo aka "Plane on a Stick" at Tivoli Gardens in Denmark might be the closest thing to a G-Force real life simulator ride I've ever been on. Note that this footage is NOT sped up in any way!

I went on this. It was terrifying! I left the ride in disbelief that it was actually an amusement park ride, and kids went on it. It wasn't really fun at all, more like an endurance test. Never again....

Ive tryed this and im pretty sure i passed out for a couple of seconds. The craziest part isnt even when the play it self spins around like mad but when iy hits max speed going in circles with all the G's. And at the end of the run i had it let you hang upside down at the top for a couple seconds that was pretty scary

Oh my... no, no WAY am I going on this, that's *insane*! I felt dizzy just watching... and yes, the caption was well justified - the speed picked up was incredible! Fantastic camera work, and great reactions from the guys riding - the amount of noise coming from them? This ride is pretty damn neat!i I've tried it maybe 5-10 times. I have been on the edge of passing out, the G forces are pretty damn serious in this one and you really dont want it to last much longer than it lasts.

At the time, I had no idea this did FIVE Gs - I might have chickened out if I had! When it reaches top speed, the horizontal force is so high that it pushes on your chest & it becomes hard to breathe. Other than that, this ride is awesome!

I went to Tivoli gardens during the summer and I can easily say that this ride is totally unique and was the best ride there by a long shot. It may look scary but it was absolutely amazing.

Tried this about a thousand times, it is REALLY great. If you can not simply resist the urge to try this over and over AND over again, I suggest you travel here to Copenhagen during a school week (now to mid october) from opening time throughout the day. There will be NO queue, NO people in the beginning of the day (first 4-5 hours). I've done this so often, when I was not at school and I guarantee, that this is EXCELLENT. Other notable rides in this anyway fairly boring and expensive park: "Dragen" (translates to The Dragon) it's similar to Samurai at Thorpe Park, but it's faster and loops. Also you can ask the nice guys at the rides to give you a crazy ride, haha. Those are the two rides you wanna focus on primarily, imo. "Dragen" is never really fed up with people at any hour, but Vertigo will have around 45-65 minute queue every day, and it is really, really slow, so I advise anyone not to come during peak season, because there is not much to the park besides those two rides. For everyone that has not been on this ride it is amazing! I went on it about 5 times my visit. I love it so much. The park doesnt have alot of thrill rides since its in the middle of copenhagen but this makes up for it :D its so much fun

there's one of these in my town. it's called Flying Fury here. you can drive the airplane as you wants. there are bottoms for making any kind of spin and a special bottom to make start the turbo (acceleration to 5g's). when you realese the turbo (that can be used to go in backwards too) you aren't able to spin anymore.
