they said that about GTA3, 4, 5, RD1, RD2 , Skyrim, Fallout3, FalloutNV, Fallout4, Skyrim remastered, Fallout76, Witcher3 ... and a ton of other open world games. There will be something better coming afterwards. The Details in GTA6 will hopefully be even higher and the world bigger with more to explore. So far they always set a pretty high standard with every release. :D

I really must say, I never liked livestreams or VODs. But like a year ago when the Bazz saga was like a few months before it's end I binged all your Bazz VODs within a few weeks and followed some livestreams after that. All these hours were so worth it, I've never seen anything like it and I couldn't believe how emotional attatched I became to that character. Remembering watching these videos and almost being obsessed with the story, really feels like a whole phase that I had in my life. It's weird. I've never watched any VODs of the new character mainly just because of time constraints that I have now, but I do so so much appreciate you uploading videos like that for people like me now who don't have the time or endurance to sit through these VODs. Of course a whole consistent series from start to finish would be even better but I know that watching those alone consumed all my free time for so long, I wouldn't want to know how much time editing these all would take. Anyway, thank you Vert and all the other people you roleplayed with for those amazing times.

Damn definitely cool seeing a bunch of folks get together and improv such a cool story, I always felt amazing stories could come out of this kinda stuff and always wanted to be apart of one, however I feel I am too stuck dreaming about how one should go or over desiring some importance in my character to satisfy myself(I suppose that’s just a result of having little importance in real life), that I wouldn’t end up being much of a good Roleplayer. Plus I am not very good at building reputation or have the charisma to be given the chance to make such a memorable character. I gotta give you props for being able to make a character that genuinely feels like the main character of a story whilst being able to get along with everyone and tell a story. I also gotta give props to everyone else to just let Wallaby shine as a character, hell I wish we all had the time and patience and selflessness to let everyone get a chance to play their own story as the main character.

Damn this really felt like a movie. The whistle, the guy giving info about heist, the train robbery, the shoot out, everything came together perfectly. Everyone played their characters very well. Couldn’t have scripted it any better. This could honestly be the plot to a real movie. I wish we got to see more of the other side’s perspective because those couple of times we did get to switch over and see what the law seen was awesome. This server seems really cool and amazing with how serious people are with their rp on this server! But everytime I think about applying, the application process seems so above and beyond. Some of the questions just feel like they can be opinion based and it just depends on who reviews your application on whether they'd say yes or no. On top of that, it takes weeks or months for you application to be seen and looked over, and then if they deny it they don't tell you why when it shouldn't really be that hard to explain why (they say bcz it'd take too much time?) . I don't really see how "your microphone is not up to standard" or "this answer to this question is incorrect" or "your rp background or your rp experience in insufficient" takes too much time. I don't really want to put my passion and all into an application just to get denied and have no idea why. Then try again, wait weeks/months again, and possibly get denied again and still not know why :/

i agree with you my friend. ive been playing on a server called Syn County, and i play fivem mostly as a police chief in my city. fivem is incomparable to redm. there are so many things you can do in redm that u just cant do in fivem. you dont have to /me anything because everything is basically interact-able. the different ways you can own a business, or be an outlaw, or a law abiding citizen is crazy. experience varies from server to server, but overall i would say this is the best experience i have had playing a video game in a long time. personally i distribute moonshine to the locals for my income, along with other things. but its awesome. and since its the wild west, not everyone knows everyone else, but if ya make a reputation, people will have heard of you, like in this video. the whistling. everyone knows the man cause he made a name for himself, but they dont KNOW him. just heard of the name and the signature whistle. that shit is just so cool to me. and if youre in a very populated server its even better. fivem is poo compared to this experience

Luckily Rockstar already included a lot of function in the core of RDR2 for RP to thrive, something as simple as crouching or using binoculars' are already included, this means the RP can flow and be more immersive. If you really wanted to, you could RP in the standard RDR2 game and it'd flow quite well, it wouldn't be perfect but compared to GTA its miles ahead.

It would've looked awesome if they fired a few incendiary rounds or threw a few Molotov cocktails when it turned to night. Seeing a few fires start and begin to spread on and in the house so you're trying to have a shootout while navigating the flames.

Before watching I'll say this: you can't be surprised that RDR RP is better than GTA, RDR's base game (and probably online (haven't played too much) has built-in RP mechanics, while with GTA, modders had to basically create a new game from the skeleton of GTA which had no RP element whatsoever, even the pacing of the games shows which is more suitable for RP.

This was awesome and crazy! It was intense. Moon had a crazy stream last night too. Just non stop chaos (tho not as epic as a gattling gun). Truly RD RP is superior to GTA.

The difference between RDR2 RP and GTA 5 RP is that you are GENUINELY playing a character in RDR 2 RP Everybody can be whatever they want, combat is extremely smooth and realistic and the customization is just **chef kiss**. Even the smallest encounter in RDR2 feels something straight out of the campaign, especially with people who even put in accent for their characters and know about US story during that time.
