I was 13 when this came out. Didn't know much about music in general. I remember RUNNING to hit 'record' on my cassette player to capture it when it came on the radio. I credit this song in particular with blowing the music doors WIDE open for me. I wish I could recapture that feeling...

You know the song is epic when another band names themselves after one of your songs

I was working nights the first time I heard this song and I heard it on somebody's tinny clock radio. I remember listening real hard and the best I could make out was can't fight the Steelers and I didn't hear the guitars. When I listened to Volcano Girls a couple months ago and saw "Seether" on the related videos sidebar, and heard this mysterious song I hadn't heard for years and saw that it was sung by Veruca Salt, you could've knocked me over with a feather. Now I can't get enough of it.

I love the raw sound of this song and most of the songs on the same album. It would be great to hear some rockin' grunge like this again from VS.
