Also just wanted to throw this out there: Be cautious with kitchen and gardening tools that *potentially* could be dangerous - IE Knife sets, spade shovels, etc. I've seen plenty of stories where Facebook TOS suspends ads if there is any potential of danger. I'm not saying John's advice isn't good, just to be careful of how you write your ad copy and produce your creatives and be sure too have a backup plan if Facebook decided to lay the hammer...

It looks amazing, 3500 orders, 700 reviews, good google trend (above 50 searched constant), it's cute gift, helps people, good rating by aliexpress testing it out hopefully by Sunday but I think it could be a winning product. CJPacket has NEVER delivered in promised 15 days to USA for us. It's ~ 35-40 days. Sometimes CJ takes 15 days to ship out from China. wouldnt recommend cj if you promise your customers fast shipping.

CJ Dropshipping are scammers. I have around 1000 orders from April, and they have not delivered a single one of them. Some are almost 60+ days old, when I paid for a special 20-25 day delivery service, and they are refusing to issue any refunds on my non delivered orders.

Sucks that you’ve had this experience with them man. They are a legitimate and reliable company though - have you taken this issue up with some of their management? Hmm Maybe this has something to do with international shipping times during COVID if you didn’t narrow your targeting down to reliable shipping countries only. Customs and certain shipping lines for some destinations have been experiencing disruptions. Best of luck finding a fix!

I think in theory cj shipping, Yun express , Uniexpress and so they should work as they promise because they can ship their own aircargo with their own packages and deliver local by working with local carrier so it should work out the deliver days they promise. And you will find out they all locate in Yiwu China, so they can work together.

11:00 I saw so many ads for the wifi repeaters. The only issue is that I know that with networking products you get what you pay for. If you buy a repeater, the chances are the repeater is going to interfere with the original access point unless you pay a decent chunk of change. For that reason I bought a Tp-Link mesh wifi system (0 downtime), and refused to consider drop shipping these products.

Great video, but that is not how you calculate profit margin. The correct way is "Gross Profit (= Revenue - COGS) divided by Revenue", so in the first example of the black head vacuum (43-15)/43 = 0.65, so your margin in that case is 65%.

You are correct and the method in the video is also correct. 2.86x means the margin multiplier. 1/2.86 =34.9 which is the percent of COGS. 100% - 35% = 65% The profit margin in terms of percentage is 65% either way here. I also prefer to calculate using the % like you did instead of the multiplier depending on case usage but the value is the same. For pricing a product it makes sense to use the multiplier instead of a % so you can take base cost and determine a retail price easily

I think it could be useful to note that I've recently learned CJ has a $30 price limit on supporting aftersale, their refund process and stuff. They told me the price from their supplier for the product has to be under $30 or no refunds could be given.

So are they really still more reliable than AliExpress in your opinion? The second question is how to fulfill lots of orders with CJ? Is there any app like Oberlo for CJ? And the last one - can you describe deeper or make a video on how to analyze products in Ali Drop Center (I mean with that chart, you said that usually, you pick products as winning when they have 50+ orders a day, though this wi-fi device has non-consistent results you still pick it as the possible winning product)? Shipping times are the biggest challenge a dropshipper is facing imo. I talked with CJ customer support and they were more saying like 15-30 delivery time for a CjPacket instead of 5-12, due to pandemic. So I would be careful setting up a integration towards CJ, atleast for now.

I went online and saw terrible reviews of CJ packet on a bunch of websites because of their terrible agents, scams, and not reliable shipping times. So don’t use it guys honestly if you don’t have relations with a good supplier AliExpress is honestly a much better bet even though there are slow shipping times. Just be upfront on your store that it may take up to 30 business days.
