The new official one piece game honestly doesn't look awful, but I do hate the idea of the abilities turning you into the official character. I don't think that really makes sense and it looks,... not great imo. I think if they just stuck to giving your character official abilities, including official characters and the official storyline OR a storyline that takes place in the canon one piece universe, that would be cool, but I think it's probably gonna suck, or at least not be as good as some of the big boy one piece games (AOPG, Rell Seas, Blox Fruits, etc.) Plus it's literally just an arena game which I'm also not a fan of. I think if they're gonna make an official game they should just do it as like a story based game. But yeah, Rell Seas is gonna be way better. They should be mostly fine anyways, if they do have to change anything it'll be small tweaks and it won't be everything. Most things in the game are pretty original, or original enough that they can't really do anything about it.

I dont think Rell Seas is releasing, at the minimum on time. Japanese companies (generally) have a collective obsession over IP, due to the King Kong case between Nintendo and Universal Inc., where Universal Inc lost it's exclusivity over the King Kong IP in Japan. So, even a hint of One Piece will make Shueisha sue. Also, Roblox has to act upon claims that they get due to the ability for anyone to create content, except if it is outwardly frivolous.
