Was this a new Baron or just a gently used one? I have always loved the Barons/ Bonanza. When I finally have plane money (probably never new plane money) i plane to find a nice used one. Preferably something new enough to still have Factory A/C though likely not the lovely G1000 system

He probably has an instrument rating already. VFR cert comes with initial training autmoatically as that is how tyou learn how to fly in VFR. Romain has an MEL already, instrument cert is a must. As for the CPL I am not sure but it could be possible.
