had 2 husky purebreds, and 2 husky sheppard mix (mother and son). the mother passed in June 2014 and son in June 2015. The were my best friends. I miss them so. It still hurts, but remembering is good for me. Would never own another breed! So loving, loyal and playfull. But because they need so much exercise, I cannot own another as I am 67 and my legs are not good. This is a beautiful video. Hope you enjoy Lihkku for many, many years. Thank you.

It's my first Husky and she is very kind. dog leash necessary, she has a lot of hunting in itself because you can not have her leash. Are places where I let her run free in the countryside where there is not so much wildlife. Heard others having male dogs that they can be difficult to have an indoor. But my dog is very calm perhaps are always together, I have my work home.

Yay, I found more videos of Lihkku! I'm in love with this beautiful silvery baby doll, aww! It's enough to make me go off my head... my family has always had dogs (mostly German Shepherds) but I've never had one of my very own (just cats) all my life. And I'm pushing fifty-five, hahaha, I shouldn't... but... Lihkkuuuuu! x I do have good excuses (reasons) 1) a dog would be protection (and in the US, we feel more and more like we need protection, sadly, and I don't want to get a gun, ugh) 2) it would ensure that I spend lots of time outside 3) there are always dogs of every breed in need of rescue. It doesn't have to be a puppy. Lihkkuuuuu! x This gorgeous boy has finally done it... when (not if!) I finally break down and do it, it's gonna be a Siberian Husky, for sure. Just like you, Lihkku! (only grown up, probably... and in need of retraining, probably, which I'm pretty sure I can do... yes!) Oh, and 4) my cat (she's eleven) is terrified of other cats, but she quite likes dogs, so it would be a friend for her, too. Thanks for sharing darling Lihkkuuuuu! x

Are these dogs easy to train?

They are sled dogs so they are not suitable for Agility. But my dog is very kind and obeys when it suits her. With the right dog treats, you can teach her to sit, lie, etc.

Marcus Brooks Easy to train but stubborn as mules. They are very intelligent but that also a downside because they have a nack for choosing when they want to listen XD Be careful when having them loose, husky's have a tendency to run and they may not come back if they are distracted.

your not teaching the sit command correctly...show the puppy the treat.then put it in your fist..put your fist over puppy's head then there is a better chance for the dog to sit
