This gives my mom and my English teacher in middle school because they would go out to the club back when they were in their twenties. Slayconic
@trevizolga4 ай бұрын
But your 20s is when people typically go to the clubs 🤷🏽♀️ What grade did English start as a subject for you? How old were you then? Not your mom's fault she had you young... just because she was a young mom didn't mean she wasn't allowed to go to a club once in a blue moon. It's another thing if you are in 6th grade and you're 12 and your mom was 42 (gave birth to you at 30) and in the clubs grinding up on 25 or 27 year old guys. 🤷🏽♀️ Just saying.

I agree that phone etiquette is gone. Parenting etiquette is gone. My partner and I went to see Taylor in theatre. There were brats running back and forth in front of us and the parents, who were literally right beside me, did nothing and sat on their social media the whole time. At full brightness. I understand having a good time, but there are childless people there. There are also better routes for the children to take, which were not in front of us, that the parents chose not to suggest. They thought Taylor was babysitting that day.

Sherry Vine is SUCH a fucking legend. When I moved to NYC and saw her in 2016 for the first time, I was STAR STRUCK, and she was just so kind and genuinely interested in engaging with folks (when the other new baby queens wanted to be bitchy to everyone). Sherry, thanks for being an icon

Omg. The writer who said they assign gender to numbers! I do that too. And yes, 4 is a diva and 5 is male. However, he’s possessive. 9 is the alpha male. 2 is a princess. Gosh. I hadn’t thought about that in ages.

I love how Sherry goes on about the older days and Delta is acting like she was there but she’s much younger. It’s actually so how I feel when I’m hanging out with the cool kids from back in the day. We need to get Delta & her mom tickets to go see Wicked on Broadway though! She’s never been to a Broadway show?! We need to change that!

When I was younger I saw Sherry vine perform in New York - to this day I still look back on it as one of the best performances I’ve ever seen it was to Stevie Nick‘s song at squeezebox. I also went to Bardo and saw Joey Arias. I love the old queens from New York I simply love Bunny and Jackie beat and Bianca I really enjoy how they say what Robin Williams or George carlin would say it is really an art to do comedy and to do drag God bless these people for being born and inspiring us God bless them all. it’s like every monday Delta takes me into this beautiful, enigmatic, ethereal world for one hour where i learn new things and i meet new people and i thank the universe for letting me be part of something so special and beautiful. Delta was always one of my favorite drag girlies from the show. back when i was like 13 (im almost 23 now) Delta has been with me for almost 10 years now and it just feels so right that she has this show now. i always knew she was more than what the show may have portrayed her to be (especially all of the emmy mess which we all know only makes us love and respect Delta more) i’m just so happy it’s working out for Delta. i cling to her every word i would follow her into hell. thank you Delta Girl. The loud music is an old sales trick. You simply crank up the music and make onlookers believe we’re having a party! You wouldn’t want to miss out?! What’s that over there? It adds a little mystery. Also some people will just spend more money rather than deliberate over a decision through yelling. They just pay the money. We did this at the dispensary in order to get customers hyped up to buy more. Or maybe there favorite song suddenly gets played and now they’re really ready to spend money. Hope this helps.

The restaurant chairs are hard/uncomfortable think Chipotle to cut the length of time you sit inside. The music is loud af because they call it "vibe" dining but a byproduct is a sore throat and a headache from yelling. There's music volume for ambiance and there's music to get you in and out or thinking about the next spot. Chili's is not that girl. I think someone just turned it up to irritate the patrons.

That’s why I love living in the middle of the forest with ZERO neighbours. I only have birds and trees around, no noise, can rest comfortably, can listen to a movie at any given time, it’s the best thing about “growing up” imo, peace and quiet. And by the way, I’ve worked with marketers before, and loud music is usually something that pushes people away faster from a place. So restaurantes want higher profit turnover for the night, the faster you leave, the faster someone else will be seated.
