Yep. Target is making their workers shut off self checkout and throwing a fat middle finger to those who like self checkout. They are doing that and providing no extra payroll to help with having long lines. And right now they are actually CUTTING payroll so we have less working employees. Target is putting so much pressure on their employees and handing out 10 cent raises while they continue to make profits. Y’all please don’t yell at the workers. Call corporate and raise hell there. 😂 car battery on wonder bread. It’s funny because this happened to me this weekend grocery shopping. There was no one to bag my groceries and I was happy about that because I am also particular about the bagging situation because I group things where they will ultimately go in my kitchen when I get home. Then this person ran over half way through me bagging my own and inserted herself without asking if I wanted help and threw my whole system out of whack! If she was nice I would have let it slide but she didn’t say a word to me and when I said something to her she ignored me. She was putting cans in with ground beef, dryer sheets in with my food, etc. I stood there in disbelief trying to gather my thoughts and start bagging my stuff again but I couldn’t make sense of what was going on as she was grabbing all these random items leaving me with no semblance of organization so I had to start doing what she was doing. I left thinking…this situation is not very delta.

This is my first time watching a full episode of Very Delta, apart from the clips online, and dare I have to say how much I loved it. Loosey was an amazing guest, I always keep watning more of her. My supermarket sometimes has weird “30 % off” labels on nearly expired products and it literally took my months to understand how they worked at self-checkout. So during that time I would either spend 100 % or literally steal those products a dozen times, by accident. Because I didn’t know how to scan the 30 % labels. And nobody ever stopped or checked me. Until a friend told me: You have to scan the regular barcode first, then the label. Otherwise it won’t register the discount. But since then I feel like it’s completely optional and even generous of me to scan it that way.

To help with button down blouses, I button them up in the hanger, then I find a line of existing stitching down the button panel and sew on top of that stitching to keep the gap closed. I don’t sew more than about 6” otherwise I won’t be able to pull the blouse over my head. Safety pin it first to see how much you have to sew to keep the gap closed awhile not sewing too much and not being able to slide the blouse on over your head.

You know whats gotten me fucked up about self checkout in California? That you cant buy alcohol. Even though theres a cashier/employee standing there "managing" the checkout area who could very easily check your ID, scan the alcohol for you, and put it in your bag.

When I worked at Sam's Club, I was put on receipt check duty a few times. My "training" on that amounted to being told to just make sure that the highest ticket items were correct. I actually did catch someone once that way trying to walk out with a whole-ass TV, but the small stuff will never get caught. I worked inventory for several years, and you knew anything small enough to hide would *always* have jacked up on-hands, without fail. God forbid corporate decides that this week is battery cycle count, you're gonna have a bad time
