You got this Shnaya! And if you mess up (which we all do!!), it's so easy to start over because it's hair gel so it's a great method to practice laying your wigs!! Have no idea about lace wigs or glues and had never seen that bald cap method, looks difficult to me as a disabled 61 year old and was really worried about you cutting yourself. But it was really informative and you have a lovely personality and sweet face :). With bad health am looking at using a lace front which is why I am glad I found you. Y’all make it look so easy… what happens when you sweat cuz I can get mine on but when I get to work I get to moving around and I start sweating and the wig will lift & kinda slide back 🥺… your came out good though

It depends on how much you sweat. The yellow bottle is more "water resistant" so it will last a bit longer. I've been to the club and it's lasted me pretty good. But honestly if you want that good hold you might need to try wig glue because it is a stronger adhesive. I hope it works out for you!

Your curls will fall out if your hair has a lot of product in it. Your curls would’ve stayed in place with a tiny bit of finger combing. As soon as you did that hair spray would’ve helped. And the hair texture is key. Keep playing with it because it was cute.

Lol for me it takes 2 hours (With styling the wig). Definitely not 4 hours unless you're a beginner. The key is to take your time!

Great tutorial!👍🏾 You look beautiful!🤩 You can use "pump it up" holding spray to get the curls to hold. It gives it that salon look. I use my spray while I'm curling at the same time and the curls last until next wash😋

I know this probably wasn't made with guys in mind, but this has been *super* helpful. I used to have pretty long hair, but I cut it short for a play and I haven't been able to get it to grow back out since then. my friend finally just suggested I try a lace-front but I was so f*ckin nervous it would look like garbage. after watching this, I'm not *nearly* as scared! incredibly informative and I will probably be watching this everytime I install mine until it becomes muscle memory (which it probably won't since I have the memory of a goldfish lmao)

If this is synthetic hair then you have to curl it before putting it on. Get a steamer, metal lined curlers, and pins. Go ahead and put the hair in the curlers like normal and pin them to the wig head. Then you're going to steam it, make sure to get between and throughout the curls. Make sure to fully coat the hair in heat before putting a trash bag over it. Close the bag around the steamer and let it sit there for a few minutes. Once you can feel the moisture through the bag, close the bag and let it sit. When the bag is off you take down the curls and boom, perfect synthetic curls. This is the best method I've used and seen and I cosplay so I have to get hella curls, which mean this shit works. Hope this helps!

Hi! It's wasnt "on". It honestly doesn't matter too much but you can sew the back for more security. I had clips on my wig at the back.

Try curling with a good curling iron. Rollers are okay but your hair really needs to be damp and you have to roll your hair in specific directions so it falls a certain way when it’s dry.
