I took this film of the Stapleford Park Railway around 1968,it was taken on super 8 film,I copied this film over Christmas as I thought it might interest fellow railway enthusiasts
It shows the old station at the house and also the long gone, Stable Hill station.Boats on the lake, one of the first automatic barrier crossings on any miniature railway if not the first.
If you look at the driver of the diesel you may recognize a very young Ray Towell of the York museum and LNER Green Arrow fame.
Plus my lovely Rosie x, What beauty.
