Her Turkish is very clear, but the phrases are not very practical for beginners to learn. You might as well teach them a phrase like, "I just landed my spaceship on the moon." Obviously, not a very helpful phrase.

Part of that is the suffix that means "I." For example, "I am happy" is mutluYUM, the -yum meaning "I am" (with a "y" added because Turkish doesn't usually have two vowels in a row) or üzgünÜM which is "I am sad." There's a different ending for you (singular and plural/singular formal), they, he/she/it, and we. I'm a beginner myself, but I hope this helps you still :)

That is not correct, it's the verbs which end with "yorum". Yorum is a connection between the simple present (yor) and the personal ending for "I" um.

Melek means angle in turkish and is a common name for girls. I don't know of a name similar to hooria in turkish.
