I have been seeing a chiropractor regularly for 35 years. Now… just for maintenance. Back when I was a very young man, my neck had been out for 6 months due to a football injury in high school. My mother took me to see a very old fashioned “ bone cruncher” named Gill. The sense of relief I felt after he adjusted my neck washed over me. I layed on the table for many minutes and actually cried in relief and fell fast asleep in the car as my mother drove me home. RIP Dr. Gill and god bless all the chiropractors.

@Naturallyme360 - I love that you chose the word “normalize” because I think we often move through our daily lives knowing that we have existing pain but somehow manage to normalize it especially if we’ve sought help and it didn’t exactly work as we had hoped... so we allow our minds to go down a path of acceptance. Good choice of words because it’s ever so common for ppl to give up and except their pain, normalize it to the point of giving up rather than to continue seeking help.

I didn’t expect to cry, but I also know that feeling. The relief from a pain like that that has been troubling you for so long. I had something like that in my neck for so long and one day I moved it just right and it just... snapped? But in a good way. I think I can only explain it like if you have been sick with a stuffy nose for weeks and you get that AMAZING sneeze where you can suddenly take a deep breath and that sensation lingers. You want to savor that moment. Compared to the pain and annoyance, feeling normal without pain is such a stark difference and you wonder why you put up with it for so long like it was normal

This job is really underestimated. My aunt made a wrong move and almost got paralized with the pain radiating thru her body at every move. She went 9 hours away to find this famous woman in our country. She popped her neck and her back and arm and she was back to normal. Is a sensitive thing

Its so crazy how you take a major pain away and you start to notice the other things that are wrong. Your body is always communicating with you. But because life is so fast, we think its more efficient to ignore it. When I went to a chiro for the first time, I was skeptical but wanted to try something else rather than pain meds. It taught me the importance of valuing your body, recognizing its strengths and especially its limits. You are such an angel and thank you for the happiness you bring back to people.

@@theheaddhunter9072 The reason why that happens is because a build up of fluid in the specific area causes discolouration in majority of the body and face, it doesn’t really matter where on the spine, it can affect everything. Poor lil nugget. No one deserves to live in so much pain. I love how she took it all like a champ. No laughing or joking around. She meant business.

Hindu 3 Yes. With those pains, you learn to “survive through”, but you’re not living. You eventually become so used to the pain, that you only notice that it’s there once it becomes twice as bad. It’s just part of life. She’s so excited about feeling good again, that she could possibly overdo it before her body is done healing itself. Once we begin feeling good again, we gotta lay around for a week +, very very light activities for another week +, then slowly add more physical activities over the following weeks/months. It takes time to get back to yourself after such an adjustment and it’s extremely difficult to take that time, when you feel so much better. However, until all the muscles restrengthen, they’ll allow your bones to pop right back out. I’ve been down this road for years. It’s impossible for me to be still, once the pain stops.

She was praying and afraid to move her head worrying the pain would still be there

There's a lot of sensations. It's not so easy to just move especially when your body goes into shock from releasing all that tension. Takes a few breaths to get a feel for it. It's an intense adjustment.

so sad how we just adjust to the pain until we think it's just natural and then we get relief and are excited to finally do things. When she said "it's gone" I felt that. He got way over as million views!! Awesome!
