My advice to the two of you is live the life. I’m not saying reckless abandon but rather use that fun money and have some fun. For years my wife and I would take our kids on a family vacation only to come home and talk about all the things we should have done. After several such vacations, we came to the conclusion that we don’t know how to vacation. We took our work life stress with us and never shed it. I wish we would have followed my own advice earlier in life, there a lot of roses that we passed by and didn’t smell. Take care, travel safe and take the time to smell the roses.

We stopped in there last August, looking for a location to pay to dump the black tanks on our class 'C' after spending several days in the Keys, and heading back North to Islamorada after spending the day in Key West. They actually allowed me to dump at no Charge and asked that we come and visit them in the future (this is actually my first experience with KOA). We had towed our boat down from North Texas, and left it at the rental condo in Islamorada. I appreciate you sharing your experience of launching your boat with your Class C. We look forward to returning to the Koa with our boat.

Helloooo Chris and Aaron! Wow….that KOA really looks awesome! You took the words right out of my mouth…..that is as nice of a looking place that as can remember. I am so happy that you got to experience it down there. Kind of a bummer that you didn’t do any excursions…..but then again, relaxing is awesome and important too. Next time…..it’s only 20 miles to Key West. You can bike down there….put your bikes on a charger for the afternoon while you explore…and bike back home (of course, only while Louie can fit on the rack). Then again, it may be easier to just drive hehehe. If I think about it…I will look to see what the military campground is. It is on key west proper….and probably a lot cheaper. But, it would be nowhere near as nice. Safe travels!

Come home you are missing a record mosquito season. Couple of decades ago a bunch of us towed our family cruisers down to the Keys for ten days. Long tow but well worth it. Diving, snorkeling and having fun. Interesting note that summer I mentioned this trip to my insurance agent and he freaked. Turns out none of us had boat insurance as policies were eight states. Glad we had no insurance issues. We went in March so had to winterize the boats again before we came back.
