Very Rare To See Three Mountain Lion Cubs In A Cave And Exploring

Mountain Lions are rare to see in the wild, their kittens or cubs are even more rare to see. I lucked into finding three cubs hiding in a cave. I filmed them from a long distance. I know from tracks in the snow that their mother left them there while she went out to hunt. I was able to film them and watch them explore out of the cave into the rocks and trees. I am sure they will be in trouble by mom when she returns or eventually calls them for dinner.

Tracks from mom came off the hill into the timber. Im sure she was going hunting for the next weeks food, either a deer or an elk. Looks like a good time was had in Montana

I am surprised that they came out of the cave. They appeared to know you were there by looking directly at you. How far away were you? Quite a zoom on your camera.

Yea they were watching me, the cave isn’t very deep, I was 300 yards or more away.
