When Volaris started operations, they started with a fleet of A319s, nowadays they grew up to A320Neo/CEO and A321. You were lucky to fly in one of the last 4 Volaris Mexico A319s. Great video btw!

You were lucky to fly volaris A319'S. They only have 3 now, 1 flying for Costa Rica subsidiary, and 1 owned by Volaris Mexico flown in mexico, and the other is owned by Costa rica but flies in mexico for the MEX-GDL-MEX route. They are being fully retired and is posible that the would by gone like by 2024/25. And btw that plane (XA-VOE) was completely white because it was suppused by returned to the leasor earlier, but the lessor didnt found a custumer for a long time, so they kept it white until it was removed from the fleet. I also flew on a volaris premium seat but in a A321NX, that had more confortable seat that the regular that were very hard and cramped.

It’s sad to see the A319’s go they had the most comfortable cabins in the fleet and were unique sights to see. I’m disappointed with volaris’ switch to less passenger comfort for more profit but that’s just how ultra low cost carriers work.

It used to have a standard Volaris livery but I think it was leased and volaris just never repainted it.

This aircraft is about to be retired, as are the other 2 remaining A319s (XA-VOI and XA-VOC). Those planes are personally my favorite in the Volaris fleet and are usually based at MTY, operating low demand routes such as PBC-MTY or CUN-GUA.

I was in Economy except that these were extra legroom economy seats. The whole “premium” thing is just a brand, their only advantage is extra legroom.
