Warning: This was a very boring and lacklustre storm.
A small storm cell passed over on the afternoon of September 1st, 2024. Nothing spectacular. No CG lightning, all situated inside the clouds. Very boring but a few good rumbles of thunder. Decided to document it regardless.

Nice video. I deeply miss this kind of weather, here wwhere I live it's very very hot all year and I seriously don't remember the last time I've seen a thunderstorm like this, even a small one.

We used to have some great storms back when I was small. They would last hours. But, now, they are mostly farty little things that last a few minutes and fizzle out

@@Dan-Bartlett Here in Aus too actually, on the note of thunderstorms, we actually had a huge hailstorm at one point, I believe it was 20th December 2018 if my brain's wires function correctly, it was so huge that it actually blocked out the daylight completely for a few minutes, it just looked pitch black outside with a yellow light, it was insane, I wish I had picture proof (you probably can't find it on the internet) but it was incredible.
