Is the working CAD available? This is the cleanest belted-z implementation I've seen and I would love to adapt it for my ender-5 converstion

Thank you. We are currently in early beta or late alpha stage so release must wait. Please join discord and talk about the project.

what stepper drivers are you using to get that speed without too much noise? My TMC 2208's can barely run at 120mm/s with 12V without sounding like a screaming whale.
@PRO3DESIGN2 жыл бұрын
These are TMC 2260 on the duet 2 board. You might have some other problems as the 2208s should be fine also. Do you run them in stealth chop or spread cyckle?
@TheEpicAmerica2 жыл бұрын
@@PRO3DESIGN They're in StealthChop, when I try to change them to spreadcycle with M569 they stay in stealthchop no matter which command I give (S1/S0) on all drivers. I'm using Marlin on a BigTreeTech SKR 2

@@BigfootPrinting Do you mean the hybrid threshold?

Cool ! What's the acceleration setting ?

Right now it is only 5K.

This printer setup confused me so much. Is it Core XY?
@PRO3DESIGN2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is corexy backwards... well not backwards but belts are flipped so we run backside of the belt on what normally is toothed side to get a smooth, less friction, less belt wear, and less tooth engagement. Now we only need two toothed idlers! Ten smooth ones and can run high end bearings on idlers from www.a7lab.xyz/ or the gates ones
@PRO3DESIGN2 жыл бұрын
@@BigfootPrinting oh. That was not what i mean. We want lots of tooth engaging on the motor pulley. The idlers you want as few toothed as possible for less friction and much less wear running the backside of the belt around what normally is the toothed side
