Blocking the other player by getting back agressively to the T is an issue the WSF and the PSA have to deal with in emergency... this type of moves works nearly only when you aim for the other side of the court. If you take the risk to play a drive and to step back in the same motion, you need to have a great quality of width and length. This situation should result in many more strokes given to the opponent

El Hammamy was not in attack mode for this game.. just drive and defend. Still 2 great champions some days are in some out. Congrats 🎉

If Hania wants more success against Gohar, she needs to SLOW the pace down. By playing at such a high pace, she's doing exactly what Gohar wants who loves the ball to come quickly to her. Jansher used to use this tactic against Jahangir with great success who was very similar to Gohar in his style of play.

Hammamy didnt have any tightness or width on her shots in those first two games. No doubt she was under pressure but once the cracks showed she fell apart

I love watching (and of course playing) squash, but I have to admit I think twice about watching a match with Gohar in it. She plays dirty, and she's generally very grumpy. She doesn't seem to like her job.

SquashTV You are doing exactly what I predicted: you are artificially sanitizing these match summaries, hiding the controversial points and players. Why are you protecting Gohar? There was only one sentence in this match summary that alluded to the multitude instances of bad conduct when commentator referenced conduct strokes. Why? I think you are trying to hide the PSA's inability to clean up the professional game.

I personally don't want to watch lets, strokes, stoppages of play, discussions with the refs. I prefer to just want the highlights of play. I wouldn't finish the videos if it was a bunch of referee decisions.
