I think in vanila Skyrim followers just magically have basic arrows, but if you give them better arrows they will magically create and use the better arrows instead. Oh and congrats on a successful battle. This version of the game seems really hard.

The modpack that you're using: 'Gate To Sovngarde' has the mod 'Suspicious City Guards' where guards will follow you around if they spot you sneaking. IIRC it also causes the guards to racially profile Argonians and Khajiit.

On a side note, as 'Gate to Sovngarde' is JaySerpa's brainchild, all of his mods are on there, which includes 'Take A Nap - Sleep On Chairs' for when you need to sleep but for some reason the innkeeper won't rent a room to you.

I'm loving this series! Those fights were intense this episode! Poor Faendal, lol. Glad he made it out of there in the end. Maybe some armor could help him last longer in fights. Also, I think not being able to rent a room is from "Improved Innkeepers". There should be an MCM menu to change the chance percentage of not being able to rent a room, and the rate at which it refreshes.
