My Grandfather Harold Egerton lost his life during WW-II. He’s buried in Anfield Cemetery. Obviously I never met him, but I know he was a proud Scouser and I’m pleased his own people remember and honour him.

Nice to see that Liverpool with much leaning towards Ireland and that terrible distress can turn out in such number to honour ALL the (unnecessary) dead and wounded. Well done Liverpool! Well done our military, current and former.

Made me proud to be a scouser, had tears in my 68 years old eyes, unlike the socialist government standing at the cenotaph last week ,especially that tosser Flyn who refused to sing the anthem, these people appreciate what our lads died for.

At the 1 minute mark, the Navy platoon commander, is WAY too far ahead of his platoon....and at the 2 minute mark, there's a platoon of soldiers (their badge looks to be RA, but I could be wrong) with a number of bods who have surely missed a few BFTs! BUT..... they are all serving and deserve our thanks.
