How long does it take? I had some of my upper teeth removed and need a bridge there. Decide for metals as i had a bridge lower in acrylics and it was unhygienic.. Bottom i need full design 😊 Was going to have it done right when i get them removed. But my toothache was murder, so i had them removed before i could have the impression. That was January ,February. Then March , April and May was only check...check....mold...check...mold. Well, i still without, missing out on family Easter meals, mother's day and a friends daughter's baptism. He says its because i had them removed and he waited for healing. Well needles to say, was healed totally 8 weeks after.

Hi, I usually wait 6 weeks after extracting teeth before taking impressions, but it all depends on the situation. What was your situation in the beginning?

Well situated was getting them removed and waiting for healing. Was healing well and fast . But they say " we are a small business and can't do faster ". Anyway got them yesterday finally, however not fitting. I tried all kinds of adhesive and nothing, not even a minute.

Hi, what did you get? a full lower denture and an upper partial denture?

Why not take the impressions in the old dentures?

It's easier for me to take a preliminary impression. I don't have an in-house lab tech to pour up the model while the patient is at the office, and the patient doesn't want to be without his denture.

I could have also duplicated the existing denture and used that as the custom tray.
