Hi,I had my lower wisdom tooth pulled a year ago and I was thinking if I should get an implant,would you mind giving me your opinion?

Is general anesthesia highly recommended for a wisdom tooth that hasn't erupted yet? I am asking pain wise. I'm not a fan of general anesthesia and I would really appreciate if anyone had this procedure dome without it so they could tell me on a scale from 1 to 10 the pain they encountered( I know it's a subjective matter) . Thank you for showing me a flipper. Recently my new dentist flipped out when she was filling a deep cavity tooth #5 by the gum line. The cavity had gone almost all the way through the crown and she freaked when she hit tissue and blood. Anyway she sent me to a peridontist the same day and we discussed the fact that I had had an epicotomy 15 yrs ago and probably my tooth had done a self roof canal so I had no nerve in that tooth. So then I got sent (all the same day) to a tooth puller who said the tooth had to come out but it could wait until after Thanksgiving. This happened last week. He gave me a zpak and a peridox rinse. I did not take the meds until 2 days later and I saw how my gum was bulging out. So I have no pain but am scared of infection so I guess I will get the tooth yanked. Next week I will sit for a flipper impression which takes two wks ro make and then get the tooth pulled. I am 76. Dr said he could do the implant at the same time, just not attach the peg tooth yet...maybe in 4 months. So based on your video of the flipper I am not as scared about having a hole in my mouth for 4 months. I almost lost my front tooth 6 months ago but the drs were able to save it. My teeth did not prosper during the covid lockdown and having to find a new dentist.

I prefer the powder . Getting a new denture tomorrow my old one is 8 years old so decided to get a new one so I hopefully won’t need any adhesive. My father is on his second set of dentures in 50 years and has never needed adhesive

What do we do when control after applying Alvogyl to the socket, doc? Should we just leave it to absorb or should we have a curettage?

Had this twice from rough extraction. 2 weeks of agony. Had another 2 days ago and im nervous as hell.

I have an infected molar #30 that’s dark grey in between the roots and on the bottom of the root (from what I understand that is an abscess or infection) but around that is pretty white (dense?) compared to the gray area on left side of my jaw pano x-ray, what could that mean? Hi Doc, just got my upper wisdom teeth removed 2 days ago (thursday morning). I should be already ok to smoke (iqos) without fearing a dry socket? The stitches and the area of extraction itself look in great shape and i feel no pain at all.

I don't care what anyone 🤷 says a bad tooth ake is way worse then going in labor or having a baby..😅😅😅
