Yes this Dude came in and shook up the electric ESC world for the last 12 years we really been needing a good solid ESC that's field friendly MGM, SHULTZ, KONTRONIC been our best costly choice's but Kontronic was the only ESC to have FOC control now this ESC has it All FOC control a Digital Dashboard Phone App and All plus 300 amps continuous at 75volts!!!😁😇 This is the Game Changer we been waiting for and at $600 USD it's worth every penny BV also test his ESC,s online with us watching it gets no better than that

Hi Benjamin, I have a question: Since you are using a ebike with two different kv motors, I've previously tried using two different motors with different kV ratings and/or two motors with different gearing and noticed that as soon as the motor with the lower kv rating hit it's voltage limit where it couldnt go any faster because the kv was to low, the other vesc with higher kv also stopped pushing. So the whole system speed was limited by the lowest kv motor. I know this isnt a normal setup most people would use and theoretically you could avoid that by using a arduino that talks to both vescs idependently but is there a way with your new firmware to avoid that kv limit from the lowest motor?

Hi Benjamin, I have a question. How did you physically connect both the accel throttle and regen throttle? Did you splice together both their grnd and 5v wires to the same Comm pins? I'm having trouble with the VESC tool reading my regen adc2 throttle and can't get the motor to dish out any regen? I have tried to use 'Current No Reverse Brake ADC2' but it doesn't do anything. In the VESC tool the CH2 remains grey. I can see its voltage changing when I move my pot but it doesn't turn green like the accel throttle on CH1 and hence this mode doesn't work to produce any regen braking for me. Any tips would be helpful, thanks

Benjamin, i’m new to vesc’s and such. I’m building an e-step for wich i bought the vesc6, now the question is: wich kind of plug i need to connect an electric throttle to the vesc6? Many Thanks Matthew

question...! I have my bicycle with one motor like that from the video 1000w and the controller is 30Amps, but the speed I drove almost 60km/h and the controller is a very cheap one 48volt. battery li-ion 10Amps 3C. Why to pay 200$ for a controller which can,t reach the speed of a cheap controller?

I'm trying to build a linear induction motor prototype (fairly small scale) for proof of concept for one of my projects. I know the FOC mode allows you to run sensored BLDC motors, but I'm wondering how difficult it would be to modify the software and firmware to make them compatible with AC induction motors and eventually to a LIM. (expecting our frequency to be somewhere around 60-150Hz ish?) Is it possible?

Very cool stuff! Really awesome you were able to alternate the nrf51 between shockburst and BLE, was playing around with that idea a bit. Did you implement any updates to the configuration of the nunchuck nrf protocol? I know some people have reported connectivity issues in the past.

Hi Benjamin, I bought a Vesc for a new project with a friend. I have installed the vesc tool to update the firmware however we are experiencing an issue. "the firmware is too old". I searched for a solution to understand what we should do however we still get no clue how to fix it. We need to update to 3.58 (if iam not wrong) and we can find the way to do it. I saw a few videos from you and saw that you are using a st link tool, it is necessary? You are using coding for firmware/bootloader? It is really necessary? We can not plug the vesc into vesc tool and update through it?

So "Benjamin Vedder" is very, very unfriendly!!! He invents a Flipsky controller and doesn't even give a single ANSWER that only he can know and knows exactly!! As the inventor of such a controller where you spend a lot of money For example, I bought an anti-spark protection with an on/off switch for the controller and and and... There are also well-programmed Lisp files, for example for the VSETT scooter if I have the VESC in the VSETT scooter and everything works but!! The kmh display on the display is not because of E-10! So there is a LISP FILE for the VSETT scooter for (VESC controller and VSETT display) which you can upload into the Beta 6.05 tool on the computer and it is in the LISP FILE In the description it says that the VESC has to be connected to the display which I have with Rx to Tx and Tx to Rx but as I said, the great thing at the bottom where you can see if it works it says: not connected! So How are you supposed to connect a VESC Flipsky controller to the VSETT display if it only has a 5V output?! That's why I soldered the large VSETT display to the XT60 plug on red + 48V and black cable, but the kmh display is not radio and that's why the VESC is not connected to the VSETT display! Now I ask myself, why do you invent such a LISP file for the (VSETT display and VESC) if you can't connect the VESC to the display! PS.: And the only person who knows this for sure is the inventor of Her BENJAMIN VEDDER! But he's apparently too proud of himself to give an answer as to what can be done! And I will address this in every scooter forum!! And he only makes videos with the VESC and his skateboard or electric car and doesn't think about the people who all have scooters! That is very very unfriendly to the power of 10!
