Sharing with my son, who's just finished 3 years of level 2 diploma motor engineering, and is putting feelers out about where nxt to go. I've mentioned a few times, about him knowing something about scooter engines as a sideline, maby help me when i eventually get another scooter, after 30 yrs off 😭. Coefficient of friction is independent of area. So more area doesn't mean more grip. It will last longer with the bigger area, so thats a positive aspect.

@@FreakMoPed8 Hatte mich eigentlich auf 23/68 eingeschossen, bei der Ultrastrong aber ohne das spezielle Ritzel wohl nicht möglich. 22/68 nehmen oder hast du spontan noch eine andere Idee?

By the way, what about the SIP Race clutch?? It has a different basket design.

In the end nowadays, the clutch for more power than 35 or even 40hp so after the standard cnc cosa is the new bfa or kingwelle (or crimaz) so no need to invest more in a fancy basket, if its still the same technical clutch type
