Isn't the imobilaser system part of the cdi, bolted on the frame under the seat bucket, as shown in the video?

Hi Robot, the CDI is also part of the iginition system. Even if you have spark, there could be something not working in the CDI right? I had that problem on my LX few weeks ago and replugged the CDI cable, after it worked fine. Even when I had spark before replugging. Nice video again, even learned something about the battery hose, and going to check it right now :)
