I just got home yesterday following a ride from Poplar Bluff, MO back to AZ. I spent my first night in Eureka Springs, AR. Riding in the Ozarks was absolutely amazing

Just so we're clear, I'll watch any of your videos. The perspective of the rider looking out over a Vespa at the scenery is great.

Great to see you back on the 'tube! Looking forward to more Vespa rides, doesn't matter where from. Life has a habit of getting in the way of things, but you have to live it! Stay safe and send us some good stuff whenever you get the chance...

Good to see you back. I also ride a Vespa 300 HPE, but enjoy watching your videos. I watch youtuber Nick Johnson who drives around the USA showing different hoods. I enjoy watching his videos because they are like an armchair road trip :) This video was nice showing the countryside which is also nice to watch. Especially when it raining here in the UK, which is all the time :)

You are braver than I am on those kinds of roads.

Glad to see you back in Vespa action! When I saw the first part of your video where you were off roading, I thought oh no, he’s trashing that beautiful Vespa! How about a video of the new homesite and progress? Love to see how it compares to Ft Collins. Good to see you back in the saddle!

"It's purdy"? You gonna fit right in. Hoping the best for your wife, as moving and building homes really messes with their emotions. Got any historical markers/places for making a video? Good to see you again and that ride looks great......

Thank you. There are a few historical spots around here and I have a lot of family history in the area. Not sure what I’ll do with the video yet, but hopefully I can find something interesting.

hi - great to see you again. sure, I'd love to see tours of the area. I'll be revisiting your 'change the oil' video because I'm at about 6200 miles and want to do as much as I can myself to save a few quid. - changing the air filter too - robot's got a good video on that.

Welcome back, I've missed you and was wondering what your status was.My other favorite Vespa guy Bug sold his scooter and is just another motorcycle guy now. Glad you're still making a few videos. I bought my 2023 GTS 300 because of your videos. Hope your move goes smoothly.

There is a lot of good riding in central Texas. I live northwest of Austin and love riding in the Hill country. We travel to Colorado almost every year and it’s beautiful but Texas has its own charm with some of its small towns and such.
@flatgrindrides4 күн бұрын
We’ll be east of Hill Country, but I’ll probably sneak over there from time to time. 😉

Such a lovely nature :) Be aware when you are going to dusty road, your CVT air filter can be clogged with dust very fast, and result with CVT overheating, you should remove the filter after that type of ride and blow it off with air, or even wash it.. Best of luck!! :)

Happy to hear from you! Thought of you the other day when I went by Devil’s Backbone! Went through all the videos I hadn’t watched after that. Hope to see more from Texas and Oklahoma. If you’re interested in venturing out to Arkansas, the area around Rogers and Eureka Springs is incredible and would definitely be a fun video!

I’ve done some rides in Arkansas on my big bike, and it’s really pretty.

You should link up with QuasiMotard. He is down in Houston areaof Texas, but rides everywhere in US on small scooters. Soon another scooterist from Romania is joining QuasiMotard for the upcoming annual Scooter Cannonball coast-to-coast ride.

I was wondering the same thing! It was smoother than I expected. I had the tires aired down just a little bit: 26 in the front 29 in the back. Also, depending on the texture of the road it seems that you can smooth things out by finding just the right speed. If it looks like I’m going unreasonably fast over some of that, that’s why. I was picking the speed based on the harmonics and smoothing out the bumps.
