I think most of us don't imagine our genderbent selves (assuming we have imagined them at all) as being our own sexual preference so much as what we figure we would have, based on our genetics. Like in comparison to other family members and whatnot. Like, if my face was still based on the same scale of my mom's face vs. my dad's face, and I didn't have the benefit of testosterone for additional musculature, stuff like that.
