Hi! I have a problem with the Tascam porta one. I've already fixed the heads not engaging with help of one of your videos :) Now, I discovered there is a constant loud noise in the headphone output - I guess it's something with the headphone amp but I'm not really concerned with it. My real problem are the silent line outs. The tape outs do work and there is no noise. Do you have any idea what could be the problem? Should I recap the whole thing?

Hey, what do you mean by (loud noise)? Do you mean a sound with nois like a distortion or hum only ? For the line out please check the big herness close to the RCA connectors on the lower board Please let me know to follow with you this defect, good luck

@@3rdisland477 I can't hear any distortion to the sound but there is a loud hum. for line out, I've checked the herness and it was connected.
