Vestiges of Pontevedra. Archaeological site of Monte do Facho

Monte do Facho has illuminated the coast for generations, guiding ships to their destination. Strategically located for maritime control and defence, it is situated to the west and shows the ingenuity of its inhabitants to make it habitable in the late Bronze Age. Here, the numerous archaeological remains that have been found reveal the religiosity of its inhabitants. O Facho used to be a sanctuary which, when the Romans arrived, continued to be a place of religious worship. A place surrounded by mysticism not to be missed.
