VET CASE STUDY: An old Roborovski hamster has a left cheek lump.

Please accept my apology for the poor quality video. This video documents a left cheek "tumour" of around 1 cm across in an old Roborovski hamster. Roborovskis seldom suffer from tumours during old age, unlike the usual dwarf hamsters popularly kept as pets in Singapore.
This cheek "tumour" could be an infected cheek pouch abscess or impacted area. It was surgically removed under anaesthesia and was back to normal after surgery.
