The famous Orient Express train was late only once. It happened at the Belgrade railway station in 1928. Amazed, he asked why she wasn't going on this trip too. "I don't have money for that," answered Milunka modestly. His Excellency and the assembled citizens could not allow that. In front of them stood the great Milunka Savić. The woman with the most decorations in the history of warfare. Heroine of the Balkans and the First World War, sergeant in the Second Regiment of the Serbian Army "Knjaz Mihailo". Wounded in battles nine times. Those same French called her the "Serbian Joan of Arc" because of her immense courage and even awarded her two orders of the Legion of Honor. There was no room for hesitation. Those present quickly collected the money. The French Embassy provided the necessary documentation. The Orient Express stood still. All passengers, chiefs and generals were sitting in the train and waiting. No one protested. They knew that without Milunka, the journey would not be right. Yes, they can't start without her. Hi kit. You should have done the animated story video…it’s much better. A small clip of it is used in the sabaton history video. Oh well maybe you’ll watch it later on your own time. 🤞 Sabaton will probably play it next time they’re touring in Yugoslavia 😅
