Banumati is a great actress with dignity. Nobody can act or imitate her style. Annai is a good example, it's very easy to act like Sowarjanaki but nobodycan can act like Banumati. Her navarasam expressions n arrogant acting only she can do. In Hindi Nirupa Roy cannot do justice to that kind of acting. She is not a romantic heroine, but when she act with MGR, they both were awesome pair. the reason for bhanumathi stayed back in chennai was many reasons...first and foremost she wanted to establish bharani studio and produced many tamil flims initially, but later she was very comfortable to produce many telugu movies from her production company from chennai. Also, she felt that chennai was superior than newly built city hydrabad...so stayed back in chennaii to take her assets and family life in chennai. now, her bharani hospital and next generation were well settled in chennai.
