I was granted service connected compensation at 0% [ non compensable ] so I use the non service connected VA pension program that qualifies me for health care enrollment and provides eyeglasses & vision exams at no cost ; not long ago there were policy changes that made hearing & vision care available to almost all vets - check that out for details . If you're low income see if you qualify for ' wartime ' pension program [ possibly with housebound or aid & attendance benefits for additional money ] . VA does not promote the pension program but it helps me a lot . I am very grateful for this help . Got glasses before I was service connected but was enrolled in VA healthcare & pension .

No one mentioned any VA benefits entitlement. It wasn't until 2012 that a new friend asked and then took me to a VA office and got me enrolled. Now I'm in priority group 3 (10% disability). Hello! Priority Group One is the highest priority group. In order to be placed in this group, you will need to be service-connected at 50 percent or more, or be receiving total disability based on individual unemployability (TDIU). Additionally, veterans who received the Medal of Honor qualify for Priority Group One.

Contact the veterans consortium center in Washington , DC. They link veterans with lawyers for FREE that help you get your VA claim in the veterans law court system in DC. They work for veterans for free as the center is run by former veterans that are now lawyers who help veterans with all types of Militay compensation issues. Usually takes them 2-3,years to settle a court case in your favor. Once your court claim is pushed by the DVA veteran law court to hurry up and end. Remember this. Ask the court system through your lawyer for , A MOTION OF STAY. This means, you need more time to collect paper work, to strengthen your claim case for compensation. It gives you more time to get together more proof for you against the DVA so you can win your court case. You can ask for a motion of stay 2 to 3 times, before a veterans law judge descides to end your claim for you, usually not in your favor, but in favor of the DVA. So, always beat them to the punch by asking for more time. Called, a motion of stay. Works when used in ANY US court system, in ANY state in the USA! Ok. Good Luck!

@pariswillis86804 жыл бұрын
Need help getting your claim filed sooner. Go to your local state office of veteran services, file the claim with them. They expedite claims faster because they have a smaller case load than the DVA offices. You must be rated from 0 to 100% + to get compensation from the DVA. The BEST way to beat the system: Each claims service center has an assigned psychologist who works for the compensation claims board members. He determines via 1 or 2 letters he writes for you that he and you summit together the board that helps gurantee you the board will rule in your favor for VA compensation money. Find out who this doctor of psychology is, set an appointment with him and in short simple words, tell him wat you want him to do for you to get the board to approve your compensation claim, and if your paper work, your medical records that he reads before your appointment day convinces him the DVA owes you claim compensation, then your money is about 95% guranteed! Ok. From a veteran of advocate hard knocks of over 38,years VA, Veterans Law experience, who, personally tell all veterans, HOW to get your money from the VA, much sooner, much easier! Good Luck!
