Beyond the operatives, Into the Breach is an incredible Strategic Ploy and should be used in almost every single game you play. The free Dash is so, so good. Orders wise, Take Aim is always good. Re-rolling 1s is great utility, especially when rocking plasma weapons. Gameplay... Don't be afraid to lose your regular troopers. Those guys are just there to control objectives and score points. As a horde, Vet Guard have a huge activation advantage. However, you do need to be mindful of your opponent's Overwatch. Don't leave your guys out unnecessarily, because Guard die to one or two shooting attacks.

As someone who started learning KT by playing VG, this is not a good team to start. It demands a lot, you'r boys are easy to kill, so you need to use the terrain as much as possible. I have a question, how often do you use te ploy that gives you saves on +4 when in cover?

Almost never, i only use it agains phobos and only in suicides plays or as a last chance
