I was pretty confident it was the middle guy when he asked if the airforce people had to do the workout at the 2 minute mark. He was the first to respond to half right and front leaning rest, and he was the only one to know NATO phonetics, I'm really surprised the vet didn't pick up on that. I was sure of it after the best and worst experiences story. He was also very casual about his responses, it felt kind of obvious. The 1st and 4th guy either didn't know anything about the military, or had to have been really good actors. the 2nd and last guys just seemed like they heard military stories, and tried to act like military based on that.

@ChickentNug Жыл бұрын
@@ryanconway8651 never mind, you're correct. Apparently E-4s could either be "Senior Airmen" or "Sergeants" during the cold war (similarly to how the Army has both Corporals and Specialists as E-4s), but it changed in the 90s to just being the former

As someone who tried to go with the navy, I can say that it’s important and you learn a lot. I couldn’t be in because I had a medical issue that I didn’t know about. But when I had to go to seps, I had to give my uniform back and it hurt. I actually cried when I was rolling it up to give it back. The petty officer that was there took me to the side and hugged me because she knew how it felt. I have to say that the military is important and go in if you have the chance. It’s worth it.

Chances are something we should take advantage of. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get in due to your medical issues. As a person who is currently trying to enlist in the United States Army, i respect you for taking that chance.

I have medical issues as well and even though neither of us can go into the military, I believe that we are better people for wanting to and being willing to take that chance.

@@Neil_NunezJeez dude. You made it further than I did at least. I got past everything at everything at MEPS but I got looked weird at as I had a little difficulty with one of the exercises. They thought something was wrong with my shoulder but there was nothing wrong with it. That one exercise was new to me and it felt odd to try at first but I got used to it later. It did not matter despite numerous trips to try getting that last but cleared. Never could and I feel disappointed being so close to being a Marine but it was not to be. Be proud of yourself, despite how much it hurts being so close to what you want and then have it taken away. You have my respect for actually trying to get into something that so many other people are too afraid to do. I'll never forget getting to meet other people up there at MEPS doing the same I was doing for their own choice of branch. I was honored to represent the USMC while up there. Respect to all that have the guts to join up though alot of the good reasons for doing so are outweighed by the bad now. It sucks to see.

The guy on the far right was a little off, for me it was not having his feet completely together at attention and it seemed he was trying a little too hard.
