This really speaks to DOOM’s legend status. You’ve got a 66-year old white man on MSNBC giving political analysis and he drops an MF DOOM line, and a dope line at that. DOOM’s reach is just that wide. Shout out Mike Lupica, and RIP MF DOOM.

DOOM really does have a huge reach, but kind of like you’d have to ask someone if they know to know if they know lmao. Mike Lupica is _actually_ hip and in the loop, he gets it. Unless you’re 12, based on the age of yours, and almost all the comments under this video from before died … you found out about Doom after he died … because your lame as hell. These guys, Lupica at least, are from New York and no about hip hop. Lupica reference hip hop in his articles and on places like the classic show “The Sports Reporters” throughout his entire career. He’s referenced Smooth Da Hustler and Trigga Da Gambler, Wu-Tang Clan, and Rakim as well, off the top of my head. But also many more, and many more obvious mainstream rap artists as well.
