How IV dependent is Carbink? I got the 100% that'll only need 30XL I can build immediately, obviously with reduced bulk. If I want to build a bulky one, it would take months of walking and half my dust

What do you do with this team if someone SS’s to an Empoleon or Steelix?

Players won’t usually SS empoleon since Serperior beats empoleon in the 2-2 shield because it takes 6-6-5 vine whips to reach frenzy plant but drill peck always takes 6 steel wings. If they do SS empoleon, I throw a frenzy and switch to Mantine since that matchup isn’t as bad as it sounds; steel wing takes forever to farm down Mantine so it can do a lot of aerial aces. For steelix SS, I keep throwing frenzy plant until they no-shield it then switch to Carbink and farm as much as possible. In all the matches I played, only one steelix ever had EQ; if their moves are psychic fangs and crunch then Carbink can farm to 100 energy for free.

Definitely do not use your rare XL’s. Getting it to best buddy is the key then keep it as buddy when battling. That saves you 34-40 Carbink XL’s. You’re over lvl40 so you’ll get an XL candy like 75% of the time while walking.

I have no control on how Niantic handles their game. I’m not paid by them, I don’t get any sort of benefits from them. I’m literally at the mercy of the broken gameplay mechanics just like you. This has been going on since the dawn of PvP so “addressing “ whatever is going on today will have no effect. They are aware of their own game issues and handle them when they do.
