@KathleenSalazar-x6r Yeah! My aunt was telling me about it. It kinda separates itself from "theme" parks. It's kind of an animal sanctuary with rides. Great America is a theme park.

Yes! And I just found out that years ago the retired Marine World tigers and other exotics used to be sheltered at a refuge located in the hills between Suisun City and Rio Vista!

Park Updates: Medusa is closed for refurbishment, but Whitewater Safari is open! (0:23-1:00, 3:39-4:15) Food: Chicken sandwiches are no longer available, but chicken tenders and wings are back. (2:20-2:55) . Animals: The park's animals are out and about, including the mountain lions, birds, and gators. (9:29-10:30, 21:00-21:30) Discovery Theater: The show features a variety of animals, including a porcupine, a fruit bat, a snake, a vulture, and a bird. (11:36-18:30) . Rides: Boomerang is open! (20:13-20:30) . Kong: A new accessibility entrance has been added to Kong. (21:45-22:15) Dolphin Discovery: You can interact with the dolphins by painting with them or feeding them. (28:52-30:15) . Aquarium: The aquarium has been refurbished and is looking great. (30:45-32:45) October Fest: Eldon and Michael discuss their thoughts on the event at Great America. Really thankful that animal shows these days are more educational than full on bainshut entertainment compared to the 90s/00s when I was a kid. Many many parrots fell victim to the illegal pet trade bc of those shows.
