Wow, new to me, but have lived in Panama last 10 years, but I digress, ret 96, 99 drove up to Joint Base Rota Spain in a rental car, went to short stay on base housing & with ret ID card rented 2bdrm kitchenette with retired ID for 2 weeks while we drove up many times to explore Pourtugal, south to Malaga & Gibraltar, returned to states space a on a C130 to N Carolina-$13.50 for 3 box meals. Gave my all 72-96, baring from entry or use of facilities be a crime-one way or another co I would have a problem

Went to the Commissary yesterday. Keep in mind, they charge more for a vet to shop than a member/spouse. The cashier said if I would've shown my spouse card instead of my VA card, it would've been cheaper.

The commissary isn’t the best place to shop imo. Walmart has better prices. Letting civilian companies run these facilities have raised the prices

Thanks for the info. It has been about eight years since I shopped at a commissary. At that time it was a great benefit.

I shop at the commissary and where I would spend 250 , I pay approximately 140/160 at the commissary

Greetings, I submitted a 256EZ for 8 conditions, VA just denied 6. Can I file an HLR for 3 and a 0995 for the other 3 simultaneously and keep my Effective Date? Also, VA requested that I submit an 8940 & 4192... I'm in my 60s sitting at 90% and haven't worked in 1.5 years. Your Insight Please? Thank You!

Hello, I strongly encourage you to contact a County Veterans Service Officer (VSO) in your home county. Do a search a VSO in your county. Your VSO can look at everything you have done and give you specific guidance that is relevant to your unique situation. If you do not have a county VSO then contact the DAV and ask them where your closest VA Benefits counselor is. I hope this helps! Good luck.

I've been lied to before, healthcare for life, you & wife, then ret in 96 & see reality on back of new ID, the date go on medicare & wife has no coverage...military is I enroll in medicrap 2, wife is covered, well until she hit 64, now we pay 370 a month for a benifit that was promised FOR LIFE and have copay attached
