You are an inspiration and a skilled 'tree remover". You make a very interesting channel because you are a great teacher and explain what thought process you use to make cuts and maintain your safety. It is nice to hear your encouraging words. Blessings to you.

Climbing tall trees and cutting them with a chainsaw is truly a big challenge. But the footage is incredibly captivating and exciting.

I always leave a pull line on spars. Way faster to pull it over than to wedge it over.

We just like to bang wedges! 😅

I thought that was just for practice... it seems like a lot of west coast guys like using wedges... it's a mindset... pull lines allow for fatter hinges and more control against side lean when needed. Good job... those are some real trees@VeteranTreeService

I was going to say the same thing. As long as it’s straight. Donover 50%. Especially since it’s such a big stump and so much holding wood will be left on the back side to support it

DAMMMMM you are so lucky in the US climbing poles wish the nz trees were more like that

It's cool as long as you aren't afraid of heights. I like working broad trees too. I don't have to worry about wind, longer ropes, getting gear away up there, rigging down logs, or having a piece of firewood go rouge and flying through a house or fence.
@isaaczach449710 күн бұрын
@@VeteranTreeService oh yeah, not like saying all you can do is poles i guess with all the multi-steam and small tree reductions i have to do i dont often get any poles

I really like all your videos huge fan! Just one question tho instead of pounding wedges why not just set a line and pull it over? Again really like your videos just curious question stay safe!
@VeteranTreeService14 күн бұрын
It may sound weird, but we just like to hit wedges. 😆 It's great practice too. A pull rope is simple and less effort, I just get tired of trying to recover it when it's trapped under a log and/or under limbs. It's so nice to avoid that! Plus, it's cool to just walk up to a tree and have the skill and confidence to wedge it over. That only comes with practice, which is what we're doing here. 👍👋

Love it rad job just curious why you don't pull logs with a rope once your down to the spar or use your chipper winch instead of always fighting the wedges . Not trying to be an ass just curious

The world record is 2 trees in 1 day. So no. Unless you are doing it on the day you set your clocks back 1 hour so you get extra time. ... but that would be cheating and Timbo dont cheat.. so... no. Final answer!
