I’m taking the NAVLE in December and it was nice watching vets struggle with these because this test is crazy and studying for it is making me so anxious lol

I'm a 4th year student studying abroad and will need to take my NAVLE and ECFVG coming back to Canada... Considering that I haven't started studying for my NAVLE yet, I can say that I'm getting pretty decent education abroad. I think I answered 4/6 correct and had at least seen/heard about everything that was presented in these questions. Hopeful the NAVLE will go well 🤞

Absolutely befuddled that I got the pig and fish questions right- I had assumed all of that info promptly vacated my head after NAVLE. Missed the GSD one, was tunnel visioned on EPI, and when it didn't appear, i didn't realize the acinar thing was analogous.

That is the problem with these exams. They are regurgitation analysis. What you do after you pass them doesn't really reflect on real world practice or the area or method that you choose to practice, which may have not even have been taught in vet school. It is all hoop jumping with a price tag.

You probably won’t respond but I was wondering your views about a mid level provider in vet med? I saw an earlier video of yours where you and your wife discuss it and both agree it would be a good idea, however the avma this year said it would be a horrible idea. Do you think vet techs should have a wider scope of practice? Any ideas to help the shortage in vets and veterinary support staff?
